The Core Values Diagnostic is based on the robust frameworks of human motivation, such as Schwartz's Basic Human Values model, Holland’s Vocational Interests and Self-Determination Theory. The Core Values model is comprised of six factors that can be aggregated to explain one’s need for autonomy, competence, and relatedness.
